Heutige Wartungsarbeiten abgeschlossen

Hallo zusammen,

Sebastian

Hello,

today’s maintance is finished and as written yesterday our main focus was on cleaning up the configuration, because it was a mess. Also we activated a few new modules, from which the following are maybe interesting for you:

  • Message Archive Management for MUC’s
  • mam_adhoc: you can manage (activate, deactivate) Message Archive Management in Gajim
  • register_oob_url: replaces mod_register_redirect, which works with Conversations
  • pep_vcard_avatar: pushed users nick and avatar from vCards into PEP or vice versa
  • csi_battery_saver: replaces throttle_presence and filter_chatstates, cause it was recommend by some admins
  • Upload via http_upload are now served over the subdomain https://media.5222.de. The benefit of this is you can now share files in restricted networks, where only HTTP and HTTPS is allowed.

There are a few more, but they are unintresting for you, cause they are only effecting internal things. xmpp-community.org will publish a community configuration soon, which is mostly the same as ours.

If you notice problems, please let us know.

Best regards,

Sebastian
